U-Go Campers - Terms & Conditions

1. APPLICATION

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the provision of services or materials by U-Go Campers ("the Company") to the Client.

1.2 Natural materials such as timber may expand or contract due to temperature changes inside the van. While we take all reasonable steps to seal and prepare these materials, this is a natural occurrence and is not covered under warranty.

1.3 We are happy to assist with any appliance issues by referring you to the manufacturer’s service and warranty process. Appliances are subject to their own warranty terms.

1.4 Custom-made upholstery is non-returnable as it is produced to order.

2. FORMATION OF CONTRACT

2.1 All Goods and services are supplied subject to these terms and conditions, which form part of the Client’s contract with the Company. Any terms from the Client that conflict with these will not apply.

2.2 Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received.

2.3 Any modifications made by the Client after the vehicle has left our workshop may void applicable warranties, especially if the changes interfere with our original work.

2.4 We are unable to accept responsibility for damage due to accidents, adverse weather, or negligent use.

3. QUOTATIONS

Quotations provided by the Company are estimates only and are not binding. The Company will make reasonable efforts to adhere to estimated prices and timelines.

4. ORDERS

4.1 Orders are considered confirmed once written approval is received (including email) and a non-refundable deposit is paid. This deposit secures a build slot and goes toward initial materials and planning.

5. REFUNDS & RETURNS

5.1 We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. However, your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

5.2 Faulty goods can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

6. RIGHT TO SUB-CONTRACT

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Company reserves the right to subcontract any part of the work.

7. TIMETABLE

The Company will use its best efforts to deliver within estimated timeframes, but time shall not be considered essential to the contract.

8. COPYRIGHT

All designs, materials, and Goods provided by the Company remain the intellectual property of U-Go Campers and are protected under Australian copyright law.

9. RISK OF LOSS

Risk of loss or damage to Goods transfers to the Client upon delivery.

10. PAYMENTS

10.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm an order and reserve a build slot.

10.2 Payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon in writing before work commences.

10.3 If additional work or changes are requested by the Client, the Company may revise the original quote accordingly.

10.4 Final payment must be received before the release or pickup of the vehicle.

11. CANCELLATION

Due to the custom nature of our work, cancellations are generally not permitted once production begins. If accepted by the Company, the Client agrees to cover all costs incurred to date, including labor, materials, and subcontractor charges.

12. LOSS OR DAMAGE TO SUPPLIES

The Company will take reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damage to Client property and to materials used during production.

13. U-GO CAMPERS WARRANTY

13.1 U-Go Campers offers a 12-month warranty on workmanship relating to the conversion. This excludes issues caused by normal wear and tear or improper use.

13.2 The warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear

Accidents, misuse, or neglect

Unauthorized modifications or offsite repairs

13.3 Vehicles are sold in "as-is" condition. No additional warranties are offered on the base vehicle itself, except those provided under law.

13.4 Warranty claims are only valid for repairs completed at our workshop. Offsite repair costs are not covered.

14. THIRD-PARTY WARRANTY

Modifications made to the vehicle body (including aftermarket parts or alterations) may void existing manufacturer warranties. We advise consulting your manufacturer prior to modification.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

15.1 The Client is responsible for safe and proper use of the vehicle and its components.

15.2 Vehicles are sold as-is. It is the Client’s responsibility to inspect and ensure the vehicle meets their expectations.

15.3 Independent vehicle inspections are recommended prior to purchase.

15.4 The Company accepts no liability for issues, repairs, or expenses that occur after delivery.

15.5 We are not responsible for any costs incurred from offsite repairs, including transport, accommodation, or third-party services.
